If you have been browsing our Windows and Doors overview, you will have seen hundreds of rows each labelled with a PG code (PG001, PG042, and so on) alongside a sub-code (SWSF, AWA, STDSSF, and others). Here is how the codes work and why we set the range up this way.
Why we number them at all
Because it saves everyone time. When a customer rings and says I want PG024, in double glazed, Low-E, we know instantly it is an 1800 by 900 mm sliding-fix window from the standard sliding-window range. No back-and-forth about dimensions, no risk of transcription errors, no site measure needed to give a ballpark. Same reason plumbers reference part numbers, and same reason we hold physical samples of every sub-code at the workshop.
The PG number
PG001 to PG191 covers the current standard-configuration range, running sequentially through all five product families:
- PG001 to PG039: Sliding windows
- PG040 to PG050: Sliding doors
- PG051 to PG110: Fixed windows
- PG111 to PG115: Stacking doors
- PG116 to PG191: Awning windows
Every PG code is a unique combination of family, sub-code, height and width. If we add a new size, it gets the next available number. Codes are stable, so PG024 today is the same product as PG024 in two years.
The sub-code tells you the panel layout
Each PG code sits inside a sub-code that describes how the panels are arranged. Reading a sub-code is straightforward once you know the letters:
- S = sliding panel
- F = fixed panel
- A = awning panel
- ST prefix = stacking door
- SW / SD / FW / AW prefix = sliding window / sliding door / fixed window / awning window family
- Underscore _ = a horizontal split (stacked configuration, upper section above a lower section)
So SWSF reads as sliding window, slide plus fix (a two-panel unit, one sliding, one fixed). SWSFS is slide, fix, slide (three panels, sliding at both ends). SWSF_F is SWSF above a fixed panel (two-storey stacked layout). AWAA_FF is two awnings above two fixed panels. STDSSF is stacking door, slide slide fix (three-panel stacker).

How to quote by code
Three ways to get a price for a coded configuration:
- Click the Enquire (PGxxx) button on the row. Our contact form pre-fills the reference automatically, so when you send it we know exactly what you are asking about.
- Ring us on 02 4722 2787 and read the code out.
- Text the code plus a photo of your opening to us.
For any code we can quote single-glazed, double-glazed, or double-glazed with Low-E, all three price points, in your reply.
What is included in the base price
Every PG code price we quote includes the aluminium frame, the sashes, the standard hardware (rollers, handles, latches), the glass in your chosen spec, and standard flyscreens where applicable. Colour is standard-satin-white or standard-Monument-charcoal at no extra charge. Any other powder-coat colour adds a small custom-finish fee.
Not included: install, delivery outside our standard Western Sydney zone, and any site works (removal of existing frame, patching, painting).
What is NOT a standard configuration
Standard covers about 85 percent of what we quote. The 15 percent that falls outside is one of three cases:
- Sizes larger than our biggest standard (typically 2400 or 3000 mm wide depending on family).
- Custom colours or two-tone frames.
- Layouts we do not hold as a standard, like a five-panel bi-fold or a curved head.
Custom quotes take an extra day and cost roughly 10 to 20 percent more than the equivalent standard size, mostly because we have to order the extrusion cut to length rather than pulling from stock.
Every configuration comes in glass options
Single or double glazed, and Low-E on request. Low-E is a microscopically-thin metallic coating on one face of the IGU that reflects heat back out in summer and back in in winter, cutting your cooling and heating bill without changing how the glass looks. We recommend Low-E as standard on any west-facing window and any bedroom.
