What changes the price
- Safety glass requirement, Australian Standards (AS 1288) require toughened or laminated within 500 mm of the floor, in doors, near baths and pools, and in any panel over 2 m². It costs more than annealed but it is not optional.
- Thickness, thicker glass costs more linearly with weight. We do not over-spec; we use the minimum thickness that complies.
- Access, second-storey, narrow side-passages and obstructed openings add labour.
- Make-safe vs full replacement, overnight breaks usually get boarded up first, glass cut and fitted next business day.
What is included in a window replacement
Site measure, removal of broken glass, new pane fabricated to AS/NZS 2208 where safety glass is required, re-bead or re-putty, clean up of all fragments and off-cuts, and a workmanship warranty. We do not charge a separate call-out for the quote.

Can I keep the existing frame?
Yes, in most cases. The frame stays, just the glass is replaced. We re-bead aluminium frames and re-putty timber sashes as part of the install.
Is it covered by home insurance?
Usually, yes. Accidental breakage and storm damage are covered by most standard home and contents policies. We bill the insurer directly for many providers; you pay the excess only.

Do you supply only?
