How splashbacks are priced
- Single panel is cheaper per m² than multiple, joins, butt-joints and corner returns add fabrication time.
- Cooktop and rangehood cutouts, every notch is a separate operation; we charge per cutout, not per cut.
- Colour matching, any Dulux code is included; bespoke matches from a paint sample add $40 to $90.
- Templating, we always template on-site rather than work from drawings. Walls and benches are rarely truly square.
Typical kitchen pricing
A standard 6 mm toughened back-painted splashback running 3 m x 600 mm (1.8 m²) with one cooktop cutout: $840 to $1,050 supplied and fitted. A full L-shaped kitchen 4.5 m total with two cutouts and one corner butt-joint: $1,650 to $2,250.

Why is glass priced per square metre?
Glass is sold by the sheet and cut to size, so per square metre is the natural unit. Fitting cost is roughly linear with size but cutouts and access add fixed components.
Can I get any colour I want?
Yes. Any Dulux paint code is included in the base price. We can match metallics, pearls and bespoke colours from a sample at a small surcharge.
How long does a kitchen splashback take?
One to two weeks from quote to installed. Templating is one site visit, fabrication takes 7 to 10 working days, installation is 90 minutes to half a day depending on the run.
Do you replace single damaged panels?
Yes. Single panels are common, usually a cracked corner near the stove. We template, fabricate and install just the affected panel without disturbing the rest.
